Nothing Short of Denim

So, I always disliked the whole shorts thing, please don't ask why. (lol) I was just never crazy about them until recently. I wore my first pair of denim shorts since the 5th grade and now I'm hooked!! I cant get enough of the trend. Below are some pics on how to rock the look. Depending on you own personal style your can do allot with denim shorts. The Key: Think outside the box, play round and think maturely so that the look doesn't come off as juvenile. You cam even be creative and make your own. PS. Don't go to "short" on the shorts.

 Often times I reference Emma Watson, Teyana Taylor, Khloe Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Angela Simmons and Rihanna when I'm having a style block.  I absolutely live to see what these stylish women are wearing.Without getting lost in there style and remembering to stay true to myself I always prevail with the perfect outfit. So 526ixers, who are your favorite go to stylistas??? 

JUST RIGHT? TO FAR?

Ok, I read blogs, news letters, and articles frequently so when I stumbled upon a reading about American Apparel I read with complete focus. You see I shop from the store and often use the clothing to my personal advantage because they are easy to style. I always thought of the ads to be racy and some what suggestive. Skin always seems to be the vintage styled retailers motto. Which leads me to ask have they gone to far in there new campaign? Are the images just right for the company or have they gone to far? Me personally, I am going to say yes they have gone to far! It's no secret that bankruptcy is in the feature for the strugling chain if they don't pick up sales. Soooo is this how they are dealing with the problem? Are they overly using he phrase "Sex Sales" as the solution? The only positive light I can shine is that they use normal models and don't photoshop, but is that really a good thing? You be the judge 526ixers.

Even though the Coachella music festival was days ago I jus live for the style. It reminds me of SUMMER to come. The chic, boho, and hippies grudge style is young, fresh and free.  I can only imagine hitting up a few beaches & art shows dressed so "Laxed" (my new style).

Spring 2011 Hair Trends

I've posted trends on everything from hot wedges, to apparel, to polish so now its time for HAIR to take the spotlight. Here are some of this springs hottest trends on the mane side of things.
