Celeb Spotlight: Solange

My obsession with Solange has grown and so has her style. Often criticized, I find her style AMAZING! It has a cool 70's glamour / 90's afro-centric mix going on. Solange's style has also headed her to become the new face of brands like Rimmel London and Carol's Daughter. Mother, singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, model and Dj is enough to deem Solange as a 21st century renascence woman and I love it.

The Greatness know as Urban Outfitters

I was just recently sent the latest fall magazine from Urban Outfitters & I'm in love. I've always like the pieces UO offers because they are trendy yet a little indie/hobo. The brands the chain carries are easy to mix, match and layer. The variety in the store is great for people with no one designated style. Im also a huge fan of their online shoe selection and this year they offer lots of cute wedges, stacks & platforms. Check out a few of my favorite looks from their book below.

Kanye West revealed his new ready to wear line for Fashion Week, Paris. West had the support of a few celebrity friends like singer Ciara, actress Lindsay Lohan, moguls Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and model Chanel Iman who blessed the runway. Overall I can say the looks are very Kanye and the collection is very sexy cool. West uses a lot of furs, natural tones, and even some brights. Honestly speaking I'm not a huge fan of the line yet I don't completely hate it either. I can say this-- I'm patiently waiting to see what the new found designer has in store.
