A Modern Tell Tale

This shoot was inspired by this years spring trends and ways to wear them. Its easy to read a magazine and study pics of trends but actually wearing them can be tricky. So here are looks for the average woman from affordable places like Thrift stores, BCBG, Lulu's.com, Nordstroms, H&M and more. Neutrals, 70's glamour, florals, and etc. are what I focused on in this modern tell tale.

Worlds Most Expensive Polish...$???,???

The Gold Rush is the world's most expensive nail polish from Models Own. Why? Well the polish is made up of diamonds, about 1,118  of them to be exact. The bottle itself is also exquisite because the top is made of gold and diamonds. The grand total for this nail polish is $130,000. Talk about fancy. Unbelievable. 

DIY: Marble Nails...DOPE!

If you love polish and are looking for a fun way to fix up your nails try this do it yourself. All you need are your nail colors of choice, a small bowl of water cotton balls, or q-tips and nail remover. HAVE FUN with this one. I'll def be trying this and uploading pics soon of my nails. DOPENESS, I LOVE IT!

Always keep an open mind. 

Easy on the Eyes!

I found this cool eye make-up chart and decided to share a few tips. 

FIRST identify with the type of eye you have from the chart.

NEXT pick put three shades that you want to work with. To avoid looking over the top pick palettes that coincide.

LAST applying the shadows. I find it easy to start  with the highlight color which is the brow bone. Use a lighter color to add a glow. Next I apply my lid color. Its basically the main color you are going to see. Last I apply my contour which is the crease of the eye. This color is normally a darker color and it adds definition. After all my shades have been applied I blend the eye add eyeliner and mascara. 

These simple step get easy with practice and are the basics. Get these steps down pact and you'll be doing other techniques in no time.   

Spotlight: Melody Eshani

Breaking free from Persian tradition Melody Eshani decided to go into design instead of law. Following her heart Eshani found success. I don't know about you but boy am I glad she did! The pieces are one of a kind with a sort of edge to them. I just love them; don't you?
