My Life Box

My life box better known as my sewing kit has saved me so many times that it's unbelievable. It's been around to help me fixed buttons, hems, easy fixes and more. Naturally I have two, a bigger kit and smaller kit. I use the smaller one as a go to box and it is indeed helpful. So I decided to help all of my 5ive2wenty6ixer's start up your own very small kit. Even if you aren't good at sewing or whatever it might be I still recommend you have one.

First you need a house for your items; a small container will do the trick.
Then you need the following:

Sheers & Scissors: Sheers for cutting fabrics only and scissors for all other cutting
Needles

Thread: Start out with basic colors like white, black, navy, red etc. & always buy dual duty thread

Silk pins: 1 1/16 inches in size
Pin Cushion

Seem ripper
Measuring tape

For a more in depth kit you can add a seem gage, safety pins, double sided tape, tracing chalk/pencil, a tracing wheel, tracing paper or whatever you want your kit to have. Just remember you want the kit to be small about travel size.
